Lacrosse, a game derived from the Native American Indians indigenous game of stickball, has evolved into the well-known sport many know today. For North Carolina, small middle school lacrosse clubs began popping up in and around the area two decades ago. Mooresville High School has been fielding a team for the last several years and is in desperate need of having a developmental lacrosse program. We are honored to be the exclusive Mooresville Graded lacrosse club in our area.
Mooresville MYA Demons is a Lacrosse Club formally established in July 2019 as a division of Mooresville Youth Athletics program which is a non-profit organization that wants to provide great athletic experiences for all participants with an emphasis on developing character, player safety, affordability and limited travel.
MYA Demons Lacrosse is open to all students, grades 6-8, who are interested in learning more about an exciting opportunity for your son or daughter to play lacrosse in the Spring of 2025, please like our page and follow us on .
We are looking to launching our inaugural MYA Lady Demons team for the Spring 2025 season. Come out and be a part of something special.
Our program is a Middle School aged lacrosse program that will play other middle school aged teams in the area. The guiding philosophy of MYA is to provide a friendly and competitive sports conference in which middle school student-athletes are taught solid lacrosse and sportsmanship fundamentals…which will help prepare them for high school lacrosse, and encourage them to develop a life-long love for the sport of lacrosse.
The Spring 2025 season will start practicing in January with the first games starting on February 28 and running into early May.
